Especially if you’re travelling a long way, please check the details of the event before setting off – last-minute changes can occur.

Dancing as though nobody’s looking…
Tango is an intimate dance. Please do not make video recordings during any event without the express permission of everybody in the room. Please keep still-image photography to an absolute minimum, and only photograph friends that you know will not mind. (Otherwise the atmosphere is changed for everybody.)

Booking/Deposits/Balance Payments
It’s always tricky, juggling a desire to be flexible with the need to pay the bills…
In principle, all bookings and payments need to be seen as binding, non-refundable and non-transferable. However:

a) If you are taking part in a pre-booked course and you miss a class we will probably be able to fit you into another session elsewhere within the time-frame of the course.

b) If you need to cancel a booking completely we’ll always do what we can to be flexible. We will always try and pass your place on to someone else, at no extra charge. If this is not possible, we may in some cases be able to transfer a payment to another event. Typical exceptions are (i) when a course/event was confirmed partly on the basis of your booking, and (ii) when a course/event sells out and your booking prevented someone else getting a place.

Please note that this is done as a personal favour rather than as part of a professional service. This includes trips to tango events. The only payments made will be contributions to costs, e.g. petrol, tolls.
